Spetchley Park Gardens 2020 main exhibition proceeding as planned

Recent changes to government guidelines have allowed our venue Spetchley Park Gardens to re-open to the public. This means in turn that we are pleased to announce our exhibition planned there for August & September can go ahead. Full details of the exhibition can be found here.

Greys Court Exhibition 2020 cancelled

It had been hoped to re-stage this exhibition, delayed by the current health situation, in September. However, the National Trust (who own the property) have now indicated that this will not be possible. The Oxford Sculptors Group is therefore obliged to cancel this exhibition for 2020. It is hoped that this exhibition will run again in 2021.

Spetchley Park Gardens 2020 Long-term Exhibition cancelled

Given the continued uncertainty surrounding the health crisis, and mixed messages emanating from the media and government, with currently no clear exit plan from lockdown, Oxford Sculptors Group have agreed with Spetchley Park Gardens to cancel the Long-term exhibition there for this year. It is hoped that this exhibition can be revived for 2021.
At the current time, plans are still in place to operate the Main exhibition at Spetchley Park in August/September this year. For full details of that exhibition, please see here.

Greys Court Exhibition 2020 delayed

Due to the current unprecedented health situation, the National Trust have been obliged to close all their houses, gardens and parks for an unspecified period. This means that the Oxford Sculptors Group exhibition at Greys Court cannot proceed on the planned dates. Precise information on revised dates will be offered as soon as it is available. Spetchley Park Gardens 2020 Long-term Exhibition delayed opening

Due to the current unprecedented health situation, a joint decision has been taken between Oxford Sculptors Group and Spetchley Park Gardens to delay the opening of the Long-Term Exhibition there until the beginning of June. New venture at Spetchley Park Gardens in 2020

The group has entered into a new collaboration with Spetchley Park Gardens in Worcestershire for 2020 - in addition to a main exhibition held in August/September (held for the second year at this venue; details here), the group is holding a long-term semi-permanent exhibition running from early April to September 2020. This new arrangement represents an opportunity to take the time to consider the purchase of generally larger, higher-value work. Information regarding this longer exhibition can be found here.

The group returns to Greys Court for a fourth year

The Group has been invited to exhibit at Greys Court (National Trust) for a fourth year in 2020. This year the exhibition will run for a full six weeks. Dates and all other details can be found here.

Oxford Sculptors Group is on the radio!

Group members John Nicholls and Martin Lorenz will be broadcasting on BBC Radio Berkshire during Debbie McGee's programme on Sunday 27th May 2018 at around 09.10, talking about the upcoming Group Exhibition at Greys Court (National Trust).
The programme will be broadcast on FM 94.6 MHz, 95.4 MHz, 104.1 MHz and 104.4 MHz; also on DAB - 12D; and Freeview - 719.

Henley Craft & Design Experience

A new invitation for the group this year is to take part in the Craft & Design Experience event at Henley-on-Thames in Oxfordshire, taking place on the 24th-26th June 2016. Full details can be found on the Henley Craft & Design Experience page.
