Benefits

The Oxford Sculptors Group is very well known in the art world, and members are invited to numerous exhibitions throughout the UK each year. These invitations are circulated to all current members.

They include such venues as National Trust (NT) establishments, gardens, arboretums and galleries.  For more details of current and past exhibitions, please see the Events section.

Members names are listed on the Artists page.  Each member can have their own full page showing examples of their work together with their biography, approach and contact details.  Members also have the opportunity to link their page to their own website.

Members are free to contact other members with the aim of cooperation, problem solving, technical knowledge and sharing of resources, including transport to and from exhibitions and events. Contact details are shared between members via the Membership Secretary.

Members are encouraged to communicate exclusively through email to minimize costs and avoid unnecessary paperwork. Advice is given as to computer programmes and formats that will facilitate this feature. Officers of the Group mostly give their time and resources freely, and only receive expenses for legitimate costs.

Favourable terms for the purchase of sculpting materials and equipment have been negotiated for group members with a number of specialist suppliers. For more details of these suppliers, see the Business partners page.
