Hospital to commission a sculpture made from old orthopaedic implants

Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre in Oxford has contacted OSG to see if there is a sculptor interested in taking on a commission for them. The sculpture is in memory of a colleague who died recently. It is to be made from old orthopaedic implants (e.g. hip and knee replacements, metal plates and screws etc) and will go in the foyer of the hospital. They are looking to receive the finished work in the next 6 to 12 months. The hospital staff are collecting the implants for the sculpture over the next couple of weeks and the size of the work will depend on how much of this material they can collect.

If you are interested in taking on this commission, or would like to find out more, please contact:
