OSG Summer Social Idea – Any suggestions for a venue?

"Roll out those lazy, hazy, crazy days of summer..."

There was a suggestion at the AGM last December that the Group organises a social gathering in the summer in addition to the general meeting at the end of the year. OSG’s AGM is necessarily close to Christmas as it is pegged to the Group’s financial year, but unfortunately this is a time when people tend to have multiple commitments and some members may be missing the opportunity to meet as a group. The hope is that by holding a gathering in the summer, more members will be able to come along.

The provisional idea is to meet up on a summer afternoon in the Oxfordshire area in an outdoor setting where we could bring or purchase some refreshments.
