OSG Sculpture on the Plinth at Greys Court

Historic brick mansion with gabled roofs, lush green trees, and a sunny sky. The scene exudes a serene, picturesque countryside mood.

The management at Greys Court have asked OSG to provide a series of sculptures to be displayed one at a time on the vacant brick plinth in their Kitchen Garden. The intention is have work on display continuously, with each sculpture being in place for 2 months before being replaced. All displayed work is to be for sale and the commission on sold work is just 7.5%. This rotating display on the brick plinth is separate to the sculpture exhibition that OSG will be running in June and July this year.


If you are interested in submitting an application(s) to display your work on the Kitchen Garden you can apply on-line via the OSG website. The on-line entry form for Sculpture on the Plinth Display at Greys Court is open in the Members’ Area on the OSG until the 16th February. A quick guide on how to access and submit the application form is given below.


LOCATION: Greys Court, (National Trust) Henley-on-Thames, Oxon, RG9 4PG.

POSITIONING: On the brick plinth (height 47 cm, total diameter 69.5 cm) in the Kitchen Garden.

KEY DATES:

Deadline for entries: Monday 16th February

Acceptance and display period confirmed by: Wednesday 25th February

Installation of 1st sculpture for 2-month display: 1st - 5th March

HOW TO ACCESS AND SUBMIT ENTRY FORMS

  • Log in to the Members Area on the OSG website.

  • Click on "Exhibition Info".

  • Click on "Application Forms". Scroll to the bottom of the page to see "Sculpture on the Plinth" in the Open for Application box

  • Click on the associated "Terms and Conditions". Read these first to make sure you can comply with all the requirements for display. Here you will also find information on entry fees and commission charge.

  • Click on the "Application Form" and complete in full for each sculpture to be entered. Upload an image of the sculpture into the box on the form. Make sure you add your initials to indicate that you accept the Terms and Conditions. Press "Submit" at the bottom of the form when finished.

  • Open and complete the blank Application Form again for further entries.
