OSG Annual Meeting: 13th Dec 2025

AGM and Annual Meeting: Saturday 13th December, Phoenix Studio, Towersey, Nr Thame, OX9 3QZ

Dear Members

Our AGM and annual meeting will be at Phoenix Studios near Thame on the 13th December with a buffet lunch. Please reply to the group administrator by 28th November to advise if you are going to help plan the catering.

This year we will be joined by three representatives from Pottery Crafts – Tiranti who will talk to us about their company, the materials and tools it supplies and give us a live demonstration. Pottery Crafts – Tiranti was formed from the merger of several complimentary business that serve sculptors, potters and ceramists. The Tiranti part of the company has a particularly long history in sculpting tools and materials, going back to 1895. Whilst these representatives are with us they will be happy to discuss any technical questions you have relating to sculpting and ceramics and tell you more about their products. They will have a small range of products with them for sale, plus a discount code which you can use on line.

All members are welcome and we hope as many as possible will come along to participate in the AGM, learn more about Pottery Crafts – Tiranti, their products and how to use them and catch-up with other members.

The OSG’s Steering Group is particularly in need of support in the area of social media to promote the Group and its activities. If this is a support role you could offer (just as much time as you have to spare) it would be great to hear from you, ideally at the AGM or via email

THE PROGRAMME FOR THE MEETING ON 13th DECEMBER:

10:30 to 11:00 – Arrival. Tea and coffee available

11:00 to 11:55 – AGM: Hear directly from our Chairman, Treasurer and Membership secretary on the status of the Group and hear feedback from this year’s exhibition managers. Have your say in planning next year’s exhibitions. Vote on the membership of the Steering Group. Raise any other matters.

11:55 Approx – PotteryCrafts-Tiranti representatives arrive and set up

12:00 to 12:45 – Festive Buffet lunch and mingle. Mineral water, tea and coffee available. Please bring a bottle if you would like something else to drink.

12:45 to 14:00 – Talk and demonstration by PotteryCrafts-Tiranti representatives

14:00 Approx– Meeting close
