Metal table bases potentially of use in sculpture/plinths

The National Trust at Greys Court is about to scrap 12 metal table bases, shown in the photo below here. With the addition of a board on top, I think they would make good sculpture display stands.


They are very robust, with heavy cast iron feet, and stand at normal table height. Further stability could be added by hammering hoops into the ground across their legs.
