I have been involved in ceramics for a very long time. I have particularly enjoyed constructing sculptural and architectural work using slabs of clay and building up surface textures, often grainy and pitted, adding clay grit to create depth. I tend to use matt glaze finishes resembling degraded white washed walls. Many of the sculptures are suitable for placing in a garden, creating a focal point.
