I have been working in clay and occasionally other materials since the early 2000s after a career in agricultural research and project management.

I started making life sculpture pieces, then moved to creating plaques, models and pots in more abstract designs. Recently, I’ve made a series of three-dimensional series models of carvings of constellations on the side of the 11th font at St Peter’s, Hook Norton: Serpens, Aries, Sagittarius and Aquarius. I often wonder about the lives of the carvers of the font and the people that worshipped at the church.
