Working from my studio in Epsom, I enjoy creating a range of fused glass art that is both distinctive and eye catching. My inspiration comes from the delicate balance between colour, space and light.
Through experimenting with different techniques and combinations of materials, my work is constantly evolving, developing the skills gained from my degree in Applied Arts (specialising in Glass Design). Each piece goes through a complex process of firing and fusing the glass (often numerous times) transforming it into the dynamic and unique final result. Many of the pieces come with a handcrafted frame, structure or base using a variety of materials.
My work ranges from smaller scale art pieces to larger sculptures and installations for both indoor and outdoor. I also enjoy working with stained glass creating both traditional designs and art panels with a modern twist.
I use my experience and passion for developing and perfecting glass techniques to constantly create new designs, which can be seen in sculpture exhibitions in and around Surrey and beyond. Studio visits are welcome by arrangement.
