Sam Weston

I've worked as an illustrator for about 13 years. Detailed 3d computer modelling is a large aspect of my illustration work.
Recently I've found working on a computer isn't as satisfiying as working hands on with a physical medium. So I decided to try my hand at traditional sculpture.

My work so far has consisted of figurative traditional pieces, with a twist. Though I will be creating some abstract works as well.

The base materials I use for modelling are clay and plastilina. I build my own moulds and do my own casting, mostly resin based.

I love working on my own ideas, if people like them that's great, but I'm also happy to work on commissions.
