Judith Waddington
Must make, must paint have been my lifelong responses to a farming childhood, teaching career, and now retirement.
For sculpture I work in clay, wire and wire and plaster and realise some pieces as bronze resins; paintings are in acrylics or oils.
My continuing challenge in all art work is to suggest the natural character, to convey process and intent of movement. In recent years I have been gratified by several commissions but mostly like to work independently.
Exhibition participation:
- H.Art 'Slavery... Freedom' at St. Peter's, Hereford
- Louis Braille Bicentenary 'Totally Tactile' at Nature in Art, Wallsworth Hall
- David Shepherd Wildlife at the Mall Galleries
- Showborough House Garden Sculpture
- Roses Theatre, Tewkesbury
- Artsite3 Christmas Gallery, Hereford
- North Wall Arts Centre, Oxford.
